Mager 60th Wedding Anniversary Shoot

I was approached by a new customer a few hours before the event to quickly pop in and take a few photos of this wonderful family. It wasn't a set up shoot due to the timing but it was a wonderful experience to meet such a wonderful family on such a landmark occasion.

Sliding Meadows

Sliding Meadow was captured whilst the earth was flipping on its axis in some kind of unexpected pole shift! Not really. I captured this whilst hiking through my local countryside with another photographer. As per the norm, its expected to get the bubble on the tripod bang on in the middle to create a nicely composed and accurately level image. But, that would be to obvious. so I tilted the tripod and fired off a few shots. This was the result.

Canon EOS 400D
18-55mm lens (I always use this for HDR)
3 exposures -2 0 +2
Photomatix PRO
Adobe Photoshop CS6

The Summer Storm Rolls In Over Prestatyn

A walk from the shore to the ever outwardly sea is always worth a shot in all weather. And, if you dont mind, everybody will be there taking pictures of the sea. Always best to get to where everybody is, and turn and face the other way. Okay, so I may have missed one of the orange-red hue sunsets, but to be the only one to come back with this resulted in me becoming overtly happy.

Rule of thumb with any HDR shot is that you DONT over edit. Keep it simple.
